Paul Lawrie – Lord of the Golf Course
Paul Lawrie is a Scottish professional golfer. He turned professional in 1986 when he was just 17 years and got his European tour card in 1992. In 1993, he finished 6th in the Open Championship. He was a very low-key player who played a good game but was still unknown. He won the debut tour at the 1996 Catalan Open but still golf enthusiasts hadn’t heard of Paul Lawrie. All that changed in 1999. He won the Qatar Masters, one of the most prestigious European Tour events and after that bagged the 1999 Open Championship at Carnoustie.

His win in the Open Championship put him on the map and he will always be remembered for beating Frenchman Jean Van de Velde. A few of Paul Lawrie’s achievements post 1999 are:
- 2001 Dunhill Links Championship
- 2002 Aberdeen Asset Management Scottish Match Play Championship and Celtic Manor Resort Wales Open
- 2011 Open de Andalucia de Golf
- 2012 Commercial Bank Qatar Masters and Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles
Lawrie was the runner-up at the 2011 Dubai World Championship and also the runner up at the 2012 BMW PGA Championship. These wins took him to the 29th spot on the official golf rankings.
It was no surprise when Paul Lawrie was named brand ambassador for Bioflow. Bioflow is the world’s leading makers and suppliers of magnetic wrist products. These magnotherapy bracelets have a sporty look and come powered with a neodymium magnet – the strongest type of permanent magnet available in the market. These magnets are fitted into Bioflow bracelets and wristbands. They use a multi-directional force of magnetism called Central Reverse Polarity, CRP. The difference between these magnets and standard magnets are that the molecules that leave the CRP field are much more effective.
Bioflow’s magnetic wristbands have been around for more than 19 years and have become very popular in the sporting world. Most golfers experience back problems, elbow injuries, rotator cuff injuries and issues with the hand and wrist. These areas need special attention. While some aches and pains might just go away others might become severe and may require surgery. Studies have revealed that magnotherapy improves blood circulation and helps in the detoxification and purification of blood. Bioflow’s magnetic bracelets help increase blood circulation to the affected areas. Once the areas receive the right amount of blood and the impurities from the blood are removed the area heals faster.
Paul Lawrie has been seen sporting the Bioflow Sport wristband during his tournaments and while he practices. “For me the look and feel of the Bioflow Sport bands are just fantastic and I truly believe in their performance as well,” says Paul Lawrie. The Bioflow team is thrilled to have this Golf Pro join the Bioflow brand. Many golfers are seen wearing Bioflow magnetic bracelets. These bracelets help keep all their niggles and aches at bay so that they can focus on their game.
Bioflow North Pty Ltd is confident that golfers from Australia will soon be seen sporting Bioflow magnotherapy bracelets. The current professional golfers from Team Bioflow are Catriona Matthew, Lee Westwood, Thomas Aiken, Chris Wood, Tommy Fleetwood and Scott Jamieson.
